New Jersey numbers · your driving
Slide in your miles and your current truck. This uses New Jersey's real EV rules: the $270 annual EV registration fee, full 6.625% sales tax (the EV exemption ended July 2025), and no federal credit (ended September 30, 2025). Ford hasn't published efficiency, so the kWh assumption is editable and flagged.
Defaults: JCP&L / PSE&G residential rates run roughly 17–22¢ all-in; Monmouth County regular gas has hovered around $3.00–3.50. Estimates. Adjust to your bill.
5-year fuel savings, after the NJ EV fee
$5,190
Fuel and electricity only. Excludes maintenance, insurance and home charger installation. State EV incentives are funded year by year and are not included; we apply whatever is in effect at delivery.
Reservation to driveway
Ford allocates Fathoms to dealers based on reservations. More reservations at Tom's Ford means more trucks arrive in Keyport, earlier. Here's the sequence, in order.

Why reserve here
A reservation is only worth something if the dealer behind it gets trucks and treats the list right. We took more than 240 Bronco preorders and 60 Maverick preorders at launch, and delivered on them. Same family, same store, since 1962.
Preorders taken at Tom's Ford, Keyport.
Ford Pro · Monmouth County fleets
A sub-$30,000 truck that carries its own generator. For landscapers, property managers, electricians and municipal fleets in Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean counties, that's the number that matters.
Bidirectional output is confirmed on every Fathom. Run saws, chargers and lights off the truck instead of hauling a generator. kW rating pending from Ford.
Reserving three or more? Select "Work / fleet" above and our commercial team holds them as a block, with Ford Pro Telematics and Ford Pro charging in the conversation from day one.
Fathom is a light-duty truck, so it sits in the lower tier for Section 179, under 6,000 lb GVWR. If you need the full deduction, look at Super Duty or Transit on our Ford Pro Toolbox.
Straight answers
No. A Tom's Ford reservation is free and carries no obligation. Ford has not announced whether the official preorder in early 2027 will require a deposit; previous Ford EV launches used refundable $100–$500 deposits.
No. A reservation holds your place on our list and counts toward our allocation. It becomes an order when Ford opens the order bank in early 2027 and you choose a build and sign a purchase agreement. Pricing and delivery timing are not guaranteed until then.
Ford has not released an EPA range estimate. What's confirmed: a 400-volt lithium iron phosphate battery in standard and extended-range sizes, a NACS charge port, and a structural pack. We post range the day Ford publishes it.
The federal $7,500 EV credit ended September 30, 2025, and New Jersey's EV sales-tax exemption ended July 1, 2025, so 6.625% sales tax applies. State EV incentive programs are funded year by year; whatever is in effect when your Fathom is delivered, we apply it at the dealership.
The Maverick is a gas or hybrid compact pickup starting at $28,595. The Fathom is a fully electric midsize pickup on a new platform, starting at $28,350, with a frunk, bidirectional power, BlueCruise standard and more passenger room than a RAV4. Ford describes the footprint as similar to a Maverick.
Ford starts prototype builds at Louisville Assembly Plant in the first quarter of 2027 and customer production later in 2027. First customer trucks in Keyport follow that. Reservation holders are told their build window before anyone else.
Reserve now and we'll count you toward our allocation today. Humanity comes standard.
